Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a talking therapy which is used to explore your experience, thoughts and behaviours associated with emotional distress. The aim of CBT is to empower and equip you with coping strategies designed to reduce emotional distress and promote your desired outcomes and help you make behavioural changes.
CBT has been recommended as the treatment of choice for a range of difficulties including; anxiety, panic attacks, social anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, phobias and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Duration: Typically, CBT appointments will last 50 minutes, however in some cases an extended session may be required. This would be discussed and agreed in advance.
